1. The Service

QR Genius lets you generate, customize, and download QR codes. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) at the price shown at checkout.
• If you start a trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
• You can cancel at any time from your cancellation page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Prices may change. We will give you reasonable notice before any price change applies to your subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create QR codes that point to illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or infringing content.
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, malware distribution, or any deceptive activity.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or republish the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (URLs, text, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for the content you encode and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by QR Genius and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that QR codes will scan correctly in every environment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QR Genius will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Spain, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
